Dr. Rajesh Ahlawat has been invited as guest faculty for the live demonstration of a variety of laparoscopic and robotic surgeries like Pyeloplasty, Radical Prostatectomy, Partial Nephrectomy, Radical Cystectomy, and Kidney Transplantation surgeries at live surgery workshops held around the globe.
Collaborating with Prof. Mani Menon's team from Vattikuti Urology Institute (VUI) at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, USA, Dr. Ahlawat, with regional Hypothermia technique, has pioneered the world's first Robotic Kidney Transplant (RKT). While working as Director of VUI International, Dr. Ahlawat is working to spread the robotic technique around the world.
Dr. Rajesh Ahlawat is 2016 recipient of President's Gold Medal by USI and was honored with the title of Honorary Lecturer conferred to him by the University College London Hospitals (UCLH), U.K. in 1995 during his consignment at Institute of Urology and Nephrology. Dr. Ahlawat has also served in Board of Directors of Endourology Society.
