Dr. (Lt Gen) CS Narayanan is a Neurologist, currently associated with Manipal Hospital, Dwarka, New Delhi as a HOD and consultant in Department of Neurology.

He completed his DM (Neurology) at AIIMS in 1998, He gained rich experience in leading Clinical Services, Teaching and Research in Neurology for 20 years at the largest tertiary care centres of the Armed Forces.
He rose to the rank of Lt Gen, the highest that can be tenanted by a medical professional in the Armed Forces and tenanted the appointment of Dy Chief Integrated Defence Staff.
He held two key appointments - Dy Commandant and Dean (Academics) at Army Hospital (Research and Referral), which is the apex super-speciality hospital of the Armed Forces, and that of Senior Consultant (Medicine), responsible for overseeing the professional care of all specialists and super-specialists in the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS).
He have vast experience in administration of botulinum toxin for various Movement Disorders. He was part of the team that performed the first deep brain stimulation procedure in the Armed Forces in 2000.
